New Build Timber Frame House for Sale in Woodcote, Oxfordshire

The Bridles, Whitehouse Road, Woodcote

Vision Development are pleased to announce the completion of our newest development which is called ‘The Bridles’ located in the village of Woodcote found in the Chiltern Hills of South Oxfordshire.

The handsome 4 bedroom detached family home with detached 2 bay garage, including annex area above features Porcelanosa tiling throughout, solid oak doors, glass and oak staircase and feature oak porch. Both the house and the garage benefit from Vision’s open panel timber frame system with rigid PIR insulation to the external walls achieving a U Value of 0.18.

The property achieved an EPC rating of B with the average rating for dwellings in England and Wales being band D. The higher the rating the lower your fuel bills are likely to be. Please take a read of our blog article on U Values and how they are calculated.

To the external face of the property we used a mixture of brickwork, Hoskins Jubilee brick supplied to us by Buildbase Theale, and cladding which we opted for Hardie Plank.

The contrast between the bricks and cladding as well as the shock of pillar box red front door and natural oak porch gives the property a diverse style incorporating modern and traditional themes.

The ground floor of the property has had underfloor heating installed with slim line storage heaters to the first floor. As the entire property benefits from an MVHR system (Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery) which provides balanced ventilation to the whole house as well as heat recovery meaning the property will hold warmth extremely well. Combined with the high thermal efficiency of the timber frame, we’d imagine the storage heaters will very rarely be used, if used at all! To read more information on the MVHR system, head to our suppliers page: https://www.cvcdirect.org/heat-recovery-ventilation.

Not only acting as an additional source of heat to the living area of the property, but as a feature piece for the sitting area, a wood burning stove has been fitted which we purchased from our supplier Bonfire (https://bonfire.co.uk) and was installed by our HETAS approved installer.

Here are photos of the bathroom suites at the property all featuring Porcelanosa tiles and fittings as well as more discreet and silent MVHR vents extracting the humidity without the need for noisy extractor fans.

Here are photos of how some of the rooms might look when furnished.

With all the high quality features and specification of timber frame structure for this new build family home Vision believe that the new owners will find their forever home in ‘The Bridles’.
