These luxury timber frame apartments are available both to buy or book a stay in enjoying the neighbouring woodland and lakeside views of this unique estate.
The large estate is 850 acres and has planning permission for 160 homes, of which circa 130 have been sold so far, together with hotel apartments and ancillary facilities.
Vision have been contracted to design, manufacture and install the closed panel timber frame system along with structural beams and external joinery for these impressive lakeside apartments.
The first apartment block began installation in January 2021 with an additional cabin building also manufactured and installed by our teams, again using our closed panel timber frame system which includes 105mm Actis Insulation, 30mm PIR insulation, TF200 Thermo breather membrane, vapour control barrier and 15mm Fermacell board. For further information see Insulating Materials. The cabin will achieve a U Value of 0.16.
The apartment building has followed a similar panel system as the cabin with a pre-made timber frame cassette achieving a U Value of 0.18 with an external cladding for the external walls and the internal walls closed in on both sides with 12.5mm Fermacell board eliminating the need for plasterboard. Within this panel design, there is also a convenient service void for first fix electrics and plumbing requirements.
Along with the super efficient timber frame system for these impressive apartments we supplied and installed the external windows & doors which were provided to us by Viking in Estonia who manufacture high quality aluminium clad, double glazed windows & doors.
With the views over the lakes these apartments will enjoy, the large windows and terraces will ensure the residents make the most of their tranquil surroundings.
With two more of these apartment buildings to manufacture and install over the coming months we will post updated photos of the first apartment when the scaffolding is removed and the full scale of the build can be seen.
