Update on New Build Home in Shaftesbury

Here is an update following our first blog about this new build house for our clients in Shaftesbury.

With all the oak sections now installed, along with the glazing thanks to John Kennedy of Kennedy’s Southern Ltd the house has totally transformed and with the main structure for the house constructed using our open panel timber frame system using 120mm Celotex insulation the entire structure, including the ground floor glazed section, will benefit from excellent thermal efficiency ensuring the house will be continuously warm throughout the year, as well as reducing energy bills.

The oak was sourced from our suppliers Whippletree  and installed by our timber frame erecting teams, working closely alongside Kennedy’s Southern Ltd who supplied and installed the glazing.

With the clients approaching us originally in 2015, it’s great to see the project come to fruition and in such style! This eye catching new home fits in very well with its beautiful natural surroundings and will provide a spacious family home for our clients.
