This new build home features our standard open panel timber frame system with some added extras which we were able to offer due to the locality of the project.
The external timber frame walls achieve a U Value of 0.14 with the addition of 40mm PIR insulation to the internal face over the vapour control foil. The roof has been insulated with 155mm Hybris insulation, H Control and then batten and loft wool to the collar ties.
These additions along with the modern heating technologies the developer has fitted to this home has given an EPC rating of A, meaning extremely low heating bills for this property.
