Earlier this year in May we posted a blog on the new classroom building that we were instructed to manufacture and erect in our closed panel timber frame system at The Yarrells Preparatory School in Poole. You will see, from our previous blog, that the complexity of the roof really made use of our installation team’s timber frame and carpentry knowledge and expertise, which has left the roof really complementing its beautiful natural woodland surroundings.

Our closed panel timber frame system suited the buildings requirements very well with its eco-friendly properties and using the latest sustainable materials and methods of construction.

Below are photos of the completed building, along with creative play deck and well equipped natural play area.

Vision had the pleasure of being invited to the opening day for the ‘Greenwood’ classrooms on the 21st October where we met with visitors, pupils, teachers and Governor’s for the school. It was great to see the classrooms being put to good use with lots of enjoyment from its pupils.

Here are some photos from our day.

Having worked on previous school projects, Vision are aware of the restrictions regarding site access and ensuring no disruption is imposed on teachers, parents and pupils. The timber frame structure allows for a much quicker build time with buildings installed and weatherproof within a matter of days with 1st fix trades commencing whilst external finishes are underway.

We can look after your project from start to finish including project management, groundworks and internal fit out ensuring all meet your requirements for the build. Whether it be classrooms, gym facility, shower block or canteen building we are well equipped to service all specifications.

If you’d like to see more of the opening day, please either visit our earlier blog article where we have lots more photos and videos of the build or the school’s website.

Thanks also go to John Kennedy of Kennedy’s Southern Ltd who was the main contractor for the build which we worked closely with and hope to work with again on future projects.
