Vision has taken three of the main build routes self-builders are likely to take and provided below (in the black box) the estimated costs for each option. Each figure is calculated based on the inputted square meterage of your proposed new build timber frame home.

Option 1 The cost to supply and install the timber frame kit for your new home. Vision manufactures and installs the new timber frame structure for your new home which allows you to take full control of the rest of the build from preparation groundworks to the internal and external fixtures and finishes.
Option 2 Total cost to self-build your timber frame home. Our self-build cost estimator considers the major expenses that you are likely to incur when building your new timber frame home (see below for the separate items) however, it doesn’t include the cost of land, surveying fees, or landscaping requirements.
Option 3 Full turnkey timber frame house build is where you instruct a main contractor who will manage your build from start to finish, under your instruction. Self-builders often choose this route if they prefer one point of contact and cost certainty with an experienced contractor.
