Amiri Construction contracted Vision Development Ltd to manufacture, supply & fit the extension to the HOPE Church in the heart of Winchester City.
The existing building required two extensions: a two storey extension to the South West corner of the building and a single storey extension to the South elevation. Due to the building being located in the centre of the City on the one way system, deliveries proved challenging but our team were able to conduct the articulated lorries to where required on the site along with crane and tele-handler for unloading and lifting.
Both extensions were manufactured to our closed panel system which included both external and internal panels benefitting from 12.5mm Fermacell Board, rigid insulation to the external panels along with handy service void, breather membrane and vapour control layer. The internal panels have 90mm acoustic insulation fitted to assist with reducing sound transfer from room to room. Below you can see photos of the finished extensions with the external finishes giving the build a contemporary and commercial feel with the black brick slip finish along with the crisp and clean white render.

I would also like you to pass on our thanks to all associated with the manufacture delivery & installation of the Middle Brook Project. Despite Vision being appointed at an extremely late stage, they were able to deliver at short notice & erect the frame on a severely restricted access site , with a very experienced site team. The whole project was executed in a very professional manner and to a tight programme. The product supplied and installed was manufactured to a high standard and made use of high quality materials , and good workmanship. We will certainly be working with Vision again in the future!
